There are many ways that you can help provide resources for the houseless in Humboldt.
We need volunteers to assist with the mobile shower Care-A-Van and pop up care center. We continue to operate and serve the north coast communities of Eureka, Arcata, and McKinleyville.
Your participation is also welcome in creating alternative affordable housing and shelter options and making long-lasting change in our community. We appreciate all forms of involvement and would be happy to support your efforts on behalf of AHHA and our neighbors outside.
If you are interested in being a volunteer, please complete and return our volunteer form and waiver.

We did not apply for Seeds of Change in 2024, but will apply to be one of the non-profits receiving community support through the Round Up in 2025. We got the greatest number of votes for 2023 Round Up and were awarded the month of November. We want to thank the Co-Op and all of our supporters for their generosity, especially therapists who provided the incentives for giving: Pat Kanzler and Blu Carlile Roy.
